Robotics platforms like ROVs and AUVs are crucial for safe, efficient, and minimal-impact exploration. Sonardyne’s navigation systems ensure precise positioning, while Wavefront’s Vigilant Sonar and Voyis’ Discovery Vision Systems improve obstacle avoidance and local perception, enhancing mission safety and efficiency. ?? Communication challenges - effective communication with subsea platforms is vital. Sonardyne’s acoustic communication systems overcome the limitations of underwater data transfer, enabling reliable connections even at depths of up to 11km. This facilitates real-time data sharing and extensive exploration. ?? Mapping and monitoring - to understand and protect our oceans, detailed environmental sensing and mapping are essential.
