In honor of Veterans Day, we’d like to recognize Captain Paul Sutter, a proud veteran and our Senior VP of Digital Product at Sommsation. From his service as a Battery Commander in the U.S. Army to his successful career in the tech industry, Paul’s journey reflects the values of leadership, resilience, and dedication—values that resonate throughout our team. Reflecting on his time in the military, Paul shared: “Regardless of our assigned duties, every person in uniform has a role to play—none more important than the other. That lesson applies in every business.” For veterans transitioning to civilian life, Paul offers this advice: “Trust your sense of duty and leadership. These core skills are what make veterans invaluable in any field.” Paul also stays closely connected with his United States Military Academy at West Point classmates, knowing the importance of community and support: “We gather regularly to support each other, especially through challenging times. It’s a bond that lasts beyond service.” As Paul puts it, “The sense of purpose and duty in the military isn’t just about the mission—it’s about the people you serve alongside.
