To our community, Thank you for your support and engagement in our recent fundraising efforts. We need your help now more than ever to bring us into 2025 and to continue to offer our enrichment trips, scholarships, and mentorship programs. In our current state, we are looking at shutting our doors at the end of the year, so we are turning to our community for help. To date, we have been able to award over $1.6 million in financial aid to 1,862 individuals and have sent 1,176 individuals, including 36 MSs, on an enrichment trip to countries all over the world. This application applies to students sitting for the CMS Master Sommelier Exam, Tasting and Practical only, September 3rd-5th, 2024 in Houston, TX. We hope you will join us in our efforts to meet our goal of $25,000 raised for 2025 programming. So how do you participate in our Summer of the Somm fundraising event? It’s as easy as dedicating a by-the-glass wine, cocktail, beer, or mocktail of which $1 of all purchases throughout the month of July will be donated to SommFoundation.
