She has served in the role of President since 2003, moderating for dozens of key clients and mentoring her team to achieve their individual greatness every day. It is with great excitement that we announce Linda Sommer, our beloved longtime CEO and Owner, has decided to advance into the role of Executive Chairman of Sommer Consulting. ? 40 years ago, Dr. Joseph Yeager developed a groundbreaking system to unravel decision strategy through language. Linda Sommer harnessed Dr. Yeager’s brilliance to create a boutique primary qualitative market research firm - then known as Linguis-Techs, Inc. ? Leveraging her expertise in Executive Coaching, Linda took on the role of CEO and forged the company into multiple industries such as healthcare, transportation, banking, and luxury goods. As the firm’s reach broadened, the company name was changed to Sommer Consulting in her honor to represent the breadth and expansion the company had undergone. Linda hired a formidable team, many of whom have remained with Sommer for at least a decade. Linda’s leadership has navigated the company through decades of changes and transformations. Linda’s move to Executive Chairman will allow her to engage in Policy and Board development to secure the future of Sommer Consulting as times continue to evolve. ? Happy Earth Day, y’all! ?? Last week, our company, Sommer Consulting, encouraged employees to share photos of how we are making our planet Earth more sustainable. It got me thinking about all the things we can do everyday to preserve our planet ?? So, while we were visiting the in-laws recently in Florida, hubs and I decided to make multiple trips to feed a farm of grazing cows ?? many of the banana peels, vegetable skins, and other goodies we normally would have thrown out. Each time we visited, calves, mama cows ??, and bulls alike came galloping to greet us and gladly took bananas ??, carrots ??, and the like from our hands. Many of them were so gentle and so kind ?? It was wonderful to feel one with nature and to know I work for a company that encourages #sustainability and preservation of our planet Earth on top of making #healthcare more #accessible, #inclusive, and #equitable.
