To be eligible for this category, nominees must be under the age of 30 at the closing date of the competition and have worked in their current capacity for a continuous period of at least six months. They should lead an organisation or a major business unit professionally, operate their own business employing more than five people, or work in a transport authority, government department, or quasi-non-governmental organisation with functional responsibility for more than five staff.
The judges for this category seek exceptional young managers who demonstrate effective management skills, excellent communication, and financial control. They are also seeking evidence of successful mentoring and leadership activities. These young leaders represent the future of the bus industry, and they have the potential to become the industry's future leaders.
