Today is Fred Rogers birthday! We remember his life and legacy with great affection and respect. That's why we are so excited to be co-producing I'm Proud of You, an original play about his life and legacy, as seen through the heart and eyes of journalist Tim Madigan, who was a dear friend of Mister Rogers in the last eight years of his life. The play's opening is this Saturday, March 22, at Open Stage, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. It runs through April 12. Tickets are still available. But they are selling very fast. Here's a clip of an interview with Someone To Tell It To Co-Founder Michael Gingerich, who is portraying Mister Rogers in the play. He talks about what Fred's legacy means to him. Someone To Tell It To will have compassionate listeners at each of the play's performances, to be available to listen to anyone who wants to share how the play impacted them and how it may have inspired them to share their story with others who value the power of listening as much as Mister Rogers did during his life. We hope to see you there! https://lnkd.in/gaZkMT-d #someonetotellitto #listen #listening #improudofyou #humanconnection

Last night, we had the privilege of leading a Working Genius workshop with an incredible school district team! ?? Through this framework, we explored how understanding our own gifts—and those of our colleagues—helps us work better together. When we recognize and appreciate each other’s strengths (and joys), we build stronger teams, foster deeper human connections, and create a culture where everyone feels valued. In a world that often feels disconnected, tools like Working Genius remind us that meaningful collaboration starts with understanding and listening. ?? Want to know your Working Genius and how it can promote human connection in your life and workplace? Today is the 22nd anniversary of Fred (Mister) Rogers’ passing. There are few people who actually seem to grow more well-regarded, relevant, and beloved two decades after their deaths. But Mister Rogers is one of them. He seems to have done that. The hallowed U.S. children’s television icon’s life and his message of unconditional love, respect, and kindness continues to not only resonate through the decades, but grow ever more strongly. It is so deeply needed in this time we are living in. This time of increasing loneliness and disconnection, mounting division and rancor, deepening unsettledness and uncertainty about what lies ahead. That is why Someone To Tell It To is privileged to be partnering with Harrisburg, Pennsylvania’s theater company Open Stage to co-produce the original play - I’m Proud of You - co-written by journalist Tim Madigan and theater professor Harry B. Parker. It is the story of the redemptive relationship between Fred Rogers and Tim Madigan in the last eight years of Mister Rogers’ life. We are proud of this play and the beautifully touching and uplifting story it tells. And we are so excited to invite you to attend I’m Proud of You, March 22 - April 12. We would love to see you there! Get tickets: https://lnkd.in/dznUrxcf #someonetotellitto #listen #listening #mrrogers #fredrogers #misterrogers #humanconnection #improudofyou
