In 2016, Gaurab and Sean built a prototype reactor using PVC pipes and entered the MIT Entrepreneurship Competition. Today, we’re proud to ship over 200 million lbs a year of more than 20 products to over 50 customers across sectors like energy, agriculture, concrete, and water treatment. We’re excited to double our capacity in Houston by early 2025 and have plans to build an even larger facility in the Midwest! We are thrilled to welcome two additions to Solugen’s executive leadership team! Chuck Shehadi joins as Chief Operating Officer. A former Marine and Naval Officer, Chuck brings a hands-on approach with over 15 years of leadership experience at Apple, Tesla, Nike, and Zoom. At Tesla, he built the global purchasing organization and supported the scale-up of Tesla’s Fremont manufacturing operations, along with international expansion into Europe and APAC. At Zoom, he led global procurement during the company’s hyper-growth phase amid the pandemic. His deep expertise in operations, manufacturing, and supply chain management will ensure Solugen’s operational excellence and drive rapid scaling across all assets. Chance Pipitone joins as Chief Financial Officer, bringing over a decade of experience in capital markets and corporate strategy. Throughout his career, Chance has focused on maximizing value from industrial and infrastructure assets. At New Fortress Energy, he played a critical role in scaling the company’s global energy infrastructure platform, supporting both growth and diversification. At 5E Advanced Materials, Chance spearheaded corporate development initiatives and led the company’s successful IPO. His proven ability to navigate complex financial landscapes and create value will help drive Solugen’s long-term financial success as we scale. With Chuck driving operational execution and Chance shaping our financial strategy, we are excited about the impact their leadership will have on Solugen’s continued growth.
