I’m incredibly grateful to have spent the last couple of months working with some of the most talented filmmakers in the world. Our AI film studio, Solo Twin, has produced over a dozen new TV series featuring talents among the top 1% of AI filmmaking. This has been made possible through our partnerships with forward-thinking streaming platforms. When I left SafeDigit in May, I pursued my longtime passion for filmmaking.?Partnering with my friend and incredible director, Guillaume Hurbault, we back incredible storytellers whose shows are produced at a cost, pace and quality level that’s impossible in Hollywood. That’s what AI can do in film. But not everyone is comfortable with it. While I’ve had supportive conversations with major studio executives, I’ve also had difficult talks with animators and VFX artists concerned about what this means for their livelihoods. It’s a change happening quickly, and our studio is one of few that are leading the change. But what excites me about AI video is that anyone, from any background, and any level of wealth, can now tell their stories through films. Backing the best storytellers based on their merits is where I want to be, especially as indie filmmaking budgets are being gutted in favor of established IP and franchises. I hope we can be part of an era where fresh and exciting films and IP are discovered almost every day.
