Earlier this year, we raised an incredible $56,874 (https://lnkd.in/db3iyy6W) to fund the development of Untamed; a beautiful, unique fantasy creature survival game that would speak to the affinities of many who already love games like The Isle, Path of Titans, and Day of Dragons. Although 57k-odd dollars would never conceivably be enough to finish development of a project this size, a lot was completed in a short time, and even now, with funding completely exhausted, development continues. Over the next couple of days, we'll be showcasing all our post-funding progress here! First up are all of the updates to our in-game environments. Our creative director, Milo Southworth, puts care and attention into every detail--improving textures, tweaking assets, and sometimes redoing entire areas of the map! Hey everyone! We recently updated our FREE game demo with tons of cool new features, including: ?? A new playable creature (Anzasaur, pictured) ?? Huntable/edible AI ?? Revamped and updated habitats ?? Improved customization and randomized skins ?? Scent mechanic and tracking ...and SO much more. To celebrate this milestone, we'll be hosting an Community Game Night EXCLUSIVELY in our Discord server on Saturday, June 15th, 8:30-10:30pm EST. We will be updating the demo for Untamed on Monday June 10th! We are excited to be a part of Steam Next Fest, and are happy that we'll have an update ready for the event! More info will be posted then, but here are some updates to note! - Anzasaur will be added to the demo. - Until early access, the self hosted demo servers will remain at the 12 person player cap. When we release early access the self hosted demo server player limit will be set to 6.* *Early access self hosted servers will have a player cap of 12 to start. - During the week of Steam Next Fest, we will have a persistent server up on the demo! This will be largely to test stability with a higher player count, we'll have the cap at 50 and are looking forward to seeing how it performs! Thank you so much for the support!
