We are thrilled that the Optima Onyx Tower, which achieved LEED Platinum Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council in October, has been recognized with the USGBC Florida 2024 Building Design + Construction Award.?? ? Located in Hallandale Beach, this project is a shining example of sustainable building. Its key features include 30% energy savings powered by rooftop solar panels, less than 15 pounds per square foot of waste during construction, and a Safety First Pilot credit aimed at enhancing the building’s green cleaning and disinfecting procedures, particularly for pathogens like COVID.? ?
