The System of Care Collaborative of Mecklenburg County seeks to facilitate cross-system collaboration among family members, youth, community partners, and child-, youth-, and family-serving agencies to improve outcomes for Mecklenburg County’s children, youth, and families. The Collaborative plays a key role in creating a healthy System of Care by establishing strong youth/family/agency partnerships, identifying and organizing access to community resources, sharing community events, implementing strategies to promote System of Care development and carrying out projects that improve community well-being.

Exciting News: We’re Growing!?? I'm thrilled to share that my team is expanding, and I’m on the lookout for dedicated individuals to join us on this impactful journey. ?? Are you passionate about working with youth and families? Do you have a commitment to mental health and well-being? If so, we want to hear from you! This is an as-needed contract position located in Mecklenburg County, NC. We are searching for contract team members who: - Have experience working with youth and families - Are committed to promoting mental health and wellness - Have flexible schedules - Can be entrusted with “My Big Notebook”, an interactive children’s workbook created from the heart by my son JC and me. This special tool, developed with evidence-based techniques, is designed to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. I’m looking for individuals who demonstrate a genuine commitment to positively supporting youth and families, using lived experience, and understanding how people learn, especially those who have been through difficult times. We are particularly seeking Spanish speakers and/or males for this opportunity. However, we encourage you to express your interest by email, even if you do not fall into either of these categories.
