We are the Texas Tech University Student Chapter of the Society of Petroleum Engineers International. Our membership is comprised of the most promising petroleum engineering young professionals in the Bob L. Herd Department of Petroleum Engineering and the Whitacre College of Engineering. Our goal is to disseminate knowledge of the theory and practice of all aspects of petroleum engineering while furthering the professional development of our student members.? Our aim is to provide students interested in Petroleum Engineering (as a career) resources which include industry presentations, field trips, and educational opportunities beyond exposure in the classroom to build foundation principles in engineering practices.
