The SOLN fam showed up in the bay area and provided great resources and information regarding breast cancer prevention, stroke awareness, diabetes awareness, BP/glucose screenings and Flu shots (thank you Walgreens). We are filled with so much inspiration and motivation after our inaugural conference this past weekend in Newark, California. The energy was contagious...the speakers were enlightening....and thanks to the sponsors, we were able to bring our vision to life. THANK YOU!! It takes a village and a lot of patience to begin a new, national organization from a grass roots level. Patience is truly a virtue and watching SOLN evolve over the last two years has been a blessing. We can't wait for our 2nd Annual conference in 2025 and we hope to continue building community and a safe & empowering space for our nursing and allied health professionals! After attending the SOLN Society of Latinx Nurses inaugural conference, I came back home revitalized and motivated. The event was filled with enlightening presentations, meaningful connections, and inspiring moments for all attendees. The atmosphere was filled with palpable joy and excitement, uniting like-minded individuals from across the nation who embody the mission and actively support and uplift others wholeheartedly.
