Emergency medicine is the best community ???? It was an honor to speak at Society of Emergency Medicine PAs (SEMPA) 360 in Chicago last week. I spent a lot of time listening to my fellow EM PAs and docs at this conference - their challenges, triumphs, and what motivates them do this extremely difficult work. It’s reminder of the great people attracted to this speciality and the work that needs to be done to give more support to EM providers. Part of that support is enabling us to get to conferences like this - rekindle the energy, build camaraderie, and continue to learn. Institutions have to keep supporting this (in person - virtual is not the same) If you’re looking for a conference, SEMPA360 is THE BEST! Such good didactic content, speakers, and workshops. Thank you Tenell Zahodnik, Joshua Higgins, MPAS, PA-C, and the rest of the SEMPA board for everything you did to make this conference shine!
