Today I completed my work with the Durham VA ADAPT program working in behavioral sleep medicine. I have enjoyed my work with veterans utilizing CBT-I and now able to continue providing this service at Alamance Life Works EAP, PLLC. I will also begin working on writing up my experience and research for publication to help others using both #emotionalintelligence EI and #cognitivebehavioraltherapy for insomnia CBT-I. Sounds like the quality of character that we need as a judge!
I grew up up with nothing, not even running water in the home until 4th. We had no money for me to go straight from high school to college. I became a young single mother. I worked 2-3 jobs and still work 2 jobs to this day. I put myself through barber school, college, law school, real estate school. I know what it’s like to make mistakes. To have to work just to make ends meet, barely. To go without to try to better myself and feed my child. I have earned the right to run for Supreme Court and I refuse to let others that came from better means continue to try to silence, hinder and even stop me and others with the same background from what we know are our rights. I will continue to fight for our rights from voting, to quality education, to access to healthcare to equal justice under the law. I need your help to get across the state and continue to spread hope to many others to not give up and to keep fighting. It’s not easy but it’s worth it. DONATE- SHARE- VOTE.
