Social Dreaming转å‘了
I read a fascinating piece about the power of social dreaming—thank you, Dan Lawrence, for sharing. Every time I participate in or host a social dreaming matrix, I witness the same incredible shift described in the article. It never ceases to amaze me. There’s something deeply moving about how individual dreams, when shared in a matrix, weave together into a larger, collective tapestry. Themes emerge, new connections form, and what once felt personal takes on a universal dimension. Each session leaves me mind-blown, as if we are tapping into something far greater than ourselves. For those intrigued by social dreaming, there are free online matrices hosted by different organisations around the world. If you’d like to explore,?follow Inari - Coaching & Social Dreaming on LinkedIn, where we regularly share opportunities. What happens when you ask a group of men to talk about women’s health at work? You get hesitation. Silence. And then—something shifts. With Alana Cookman and Dan Lawrence, we used social dreaming to create a space where leaders could engage in the conversations they usually avoid. The insights were unfiltered and honest: ? Fear of saying the wrong thing can keep leaders from saying anything at all. ? Complex human challenges can’t be solved with simple trainings in isolated functions. ? Real dialogue only happens when we feel safe and are able to move beyond defensiveness. From Barclays leaders taking off their shoes to dream, to men exploring leadership dynamics and women’s health at work, this experience has shown me something powerful: when leaders step into brave spaces, real transformation becomes possible. These aren’t just insights. They’re a reminder that the most important conversations in leadership are often the ones we aren’t having.
