We are transformational together.
关于我们
We seek out and collaborate with community leaders, other values-aligned social change organizations, foundations, individual philanthropists, and regional SVPs to co-create an ecosystem where magic happens — the magic of increased experimentation, rapid learning, and local-regional-national-global connections. In cultivating and expanding this network together: We catalyze more resources We catalyze and mobilize financial resources — both our own and from others — applying them toward cross-sector and multi-community solutions and innovations. We shift these resources away from traditional systems that only benefit a few, and we move them to collective and collaborative approaches that benefit many. We disrupt traditional philanthropy We demonstrate ways to disrupt and shift traditional philanthropy, moving it from being individualistic and disconnected to being community-centered in addressing root causes of injustice. We are embedded in the communities we serve, co-creating with them for the long-haul, not just in single touch points. We influence change We inspire individual philanthropists to understand the priorities that communities have — and how to strategically partner, fund, and give agency to community leaders in advancing change.

I am on the (virtual) road, visiting Social Venture Partners International affiliates around the globe during our SVPI Virtual Road Show. These conversations are a chance to deepen relationships, share key updates, and exchange ideas that drive impact. In the past 2 weeks I have visited with affiliates in Social Venture Partners Melbourne, Social Venture Partners Cincinnati, Social Venture Partners Portland and Social Venture Partners Boulder County, and I am deeply inspired by what I see. ? SVP Melbourne is removing barriers for youth, ensuring they have a voice in their future, and choices when accessing services. Their growing partnership is dedicated to delivering high-quality capacity building to nonprofits in Victoria and scaling up innovative solutions. ? SVP Cincinnati is dedicated to helping people reach their full potential in a time of increasing disparities in health, income, education and opportunity. Their innovative PROJECT XLR8 program is the only business accelerator focused on the unique needs of nonprofit organizations in greater Cincinnati. ? SVP Portland is changing lives and changing systems to ensure all kids have high-quality, culturally-relevant early learning experiences. Through their multi-faceted approach, they serve as?talent steward, resource investor, and capacity-builder for nonprofits and collaborations that are advancing the goal of equitable access to preschool. ? SVP Boulder County is building a vibrant community where everyone thrives. By harnessing the collective power of nonprofits and philanthropists they transform nonprofits through multi-year capacity building projects, elevate leaders through development cohorts and educate philanthropists through transformational learning experiences. Jason Aluko-Williams and I aim to visit everyone of our global affiliates, from Boston to Bangalore, from Tucson to Tokyo. Stay tuned to follow our journey!

"With philanthropy’s logic models and impact measures, pursuit of charitable good is no longer a unifying force. Collective charity can restore our power to create belonging for all." In today’s world of logic models and performance indicators, we've lost sight of the human connections at the heart of giving. The Chronicle of Philanthropy’s latest piece by Hali Lee explores how collective giving—through giving circles and mutual aid—can restore our sense of belonging. At SVPI, we believe in the power of collective giving to create lasting impact and deeper connections. Read more: https://lnkd.in/e-Sfa7VP #CollectiveGiving #Philanthropy #GivingCircles #Belonging

A Movement, Not a Moment ? Giving circles exist for times like this. In moments of crisis, grassroots leaders are on the frontlines.?We’re proud to support Philanthropy Together's Network Braintrust pledge to mobilize resources, amplify voices, and take action. Now is the time to give—our time, our talent, our treasure, and our ties. ?? Learn more about our collective commitment to giving circles below. ?? #GivingCircles #CollectiveGiving #PhilanthropyTogether
A Movement, Not A Moment The Power of Giving Circles in Times of Need! Across the nation and around the world, giving circles unite people to pool their resources and invest in grassroots, community-based organizations. We are more than donors—we are neighbors, advocates, and changemakers. And as a people-powered philanthropic ecosystem, we are always listening. Right now, we hear our nonprofit partners sounding the alarm. They are navigating devastating wildfires, funding cuts, and policies that threaten the very communities they serve. They are showing up every day for people in crisis. The question is: Will we show up for them? The answer is clear: We must. Many of us may feel uncertain about what to do in moments like these. But collective giving was built for times of crisis. Giving circles remove barriers, move resources quickly, and stand in solidarity with those on the frontlines. Now is the time to take action. What We Can Do—Together 1. Give Your Time & Talent → Show Up and Ask - Pick up the phone. Call a nonprofit leader. Ask, What do you need today? - Offer your skills. Are you a lawyer? Help navigate policy changes. A marketer? Spread their message. An organizer? Mobilize volunteers. Your time and expertise are just as valuable as dollars. 2. Give Your Treasure → Move Money, No Strings Attached - Send funds now, no red tape. Giving circles have the power to mobilize unrestricted dollars immediately. - Give bigger, stretch further. If you’ve ever considered increasing your giving, this is the moment to do it. 3. Give Your Testimony → Amplify Their Voices - Share their stories. Who is doing critical work in your community? Post about them. - Introduce them to funders. Bring them into conversations they’re too often left out of. - Call your representatives. Advocate for policies that protect funding for grassroots organizations. Your voice carries weight. Use it. 4. Give Your Ties → Activate Your Network - Rally your circle. Bring your friends, family, and colleagues into this movement. - Leverage your influence. Whether you have ten followers or ten thousand, someone is listening to you. Make sure they hear this: Now is the time to give. This is What We Do. Giving circles exist for moments like this. We don’t wait, we don’t hesitate, and we don’t let grassroots leaders stand alone. Whether in times of quiet progress or urgent crisis, we show up. And we will continue to do so. Stand with us. Share this message with your giving circle and confirm your commitment.
