We're reflecting on everything we did, together. The engagement of our community is the heart of our work and we couldn't do it without our amazing Partners and 23/24 Board Members. SVP connects and invests in people and organizations to co-create thriving, sustainable and just communities.
关于我们
Social Venture Partners Seattle is a philanthropic organization, but we do more than give away money. We are a community of people and organizations working together to advance racial justice through philanthropy. We support and invest in community-led solutions that are powered by people doing the work. This includes connecting individuals who want to give their time, talent, and treasure to make their communities stronger, and amplifying the work of nonprofits through our capacity building, grantmaking, and skilled volunteering.

Join us to step up - with big and small actions - to continue to financially support organizations and causes we care about, connect with our community and ask how we can be in service, and contact our elected officials.
The actions of the Executive Branch are overwhelming and often paralyzing – and that’s by design. If we are immobilized by the chaos the Executive Branch is creating, we can’t mobilize ourselves or others to act. I haven’t been immune to that paralysis. I’ve caught myself doomscrolling, waiting for more clarity and information, as if there will be a moment when it suddenly feels right to act. But the truth is, that moment never comes. The longer we wait, the harder it is to move. So I’m reminding myself—someone who has the privilege to act and speak out—that we don’t need to have all the answers to take action. We don’t have to be perfect. We just have to show up. Give more and commit for the long haul with monthly or multi-year pledges of financial support. Connect more and ask how we can truly support the organizations we care about. And speak out—now more than ever—about what matters. I hope you’ll join me and Social Venture Partners Seattle in taking action with what we know now, and keeping this work going—together.

Last Wednesday, we came together with Washington Women's Foundation and Washington Progress Alliance to join in conversation with Steve Phillips about the power we all hold. Steve’s talk underscored how deeply policies, politics, public opinion, and philanthropy shape our world?and how much power we have to influence it for the better. It was a meaningful reminder of the transformational change we’re working toward by building a cross-race, cross-class, and cross-culture community right here in King County. Thank you to all who attended and are on this journey with us!?
