A special part of SVP Denver’s Collective Impact Fund is that grant decisions are made by a Community Review Committee. Our Committee is composed of impact-driven individuals across many professional fields. We are grateful for the perspectives and passion they bring to the table. Meet our second set of Impact Showcase featuring organizations! Our Community Review Committee has selected Adam's Purpose, B-Konnected, COLORADO BLACK ARTS MOVEMENT, Denver Regional Mobility and Access Council, and Teach by Tech, Inc. for their powerful local impact and innovative approaches. These organizations are tackling pressing issues—grief support, disability justice, arts accessibility, and housing stability—making a meaningful difference in our community.

We’re proud to be in our third year working with Paul Collier to deliver our Theory of Change program! Dozens of organizations have participated, developing a clear and compelling message of who they serve, why, and what impact they aim to achieve. One story that stood out recently: a participant from a previous cohort shared that their experience was so transformative, they’re in the process of painting their Theory of Change graphic on their office wall! It’s a powerful reminder of the lasting impact that clear vision and strategy can have on an organization’s work and mission. Has your organization participated in the past? Through our community-driven events like Solution Sessions and the Impact Showcase, we bring funders, social mission leaders, and other key community members together to collaborate, problem-solve, and build lasting partnerships. We are having an incredible experience with our first-ever Board Engagement Cohort, facilitated by Eloise Casdorph and offered in partnership with the RTL Foundation. This program is specifically designed for members of the BIPOC Nonprofit Development Center (BNDC), and what makes it truly unique is the in-person, direct-to-members format. BNDC is redefining traditional nonprofit support by bringing resources directly to the community and changing the narrative around funding and services. It’s been an honor to work alongside such brilliant nonprofit leaders who are committed to elevating their board engagement practices and driving lasting change within their organizations.
