Despite a small decline in October, Instagram’s Organic Reach Rate benchmark is still over 7x higher than Facebook’s ORR and over 6x higher than LinkedIn’s ORR. There’s no single reason for this but rather an array of factors. One of which being Instagram's focus on discovery in feed. Organic Reach Rate (ORR) is the percentage of people who saw posts organically (ie: without paid ads / boosting). ORR is the best indicator you have of understanding what percentage of your community are actually seeing your posts. October Public Engagement Rate benchmarks are down or stable across the board except for Meta channels with modest 0.1 percentage point increases for both Facebook and Instagram.
