Social Optics is a social communication program equipping teens with a set of lenses for viewing social interactions. The lenses improve their perspective-taking, problem-solving, and communication skills, resulting in better transition outcomes and employability. The goal is to enhance their quality of life through informed decision-making, meaningful social connections, and increased career opportunities.

"Anxious Generation" Summer talk A biweekly conversation with educators, experts, and students from the field talking about key areas! After reading "The Anxious Generation" by Jonathan Haidt, we organized online discussions focusing on mental health among adolescents. We will explore how the breakdown of social communication relates to chronic absenteeism, academic regression, and the development of social communication skills for interpersonal growth and self-awareness. This week's topic: What does social isolation look like in the classroom or school, and how is it impacting students academically and mentally? What systems or trends could others adopt to help more students detox from social media at school and at home?
