We believe in the importance of setting and communicating policies and expectations clearly! Says President Cassie Barlow, "At SOCHE, we work hard to enable everyone to perform at their best by making expectations clear and ensuring our teammates have the tools and support they need to achieve them." "To ensure that all team members understand the expectations of their position, we start this process early when we begin attracting and recruiting employees. We set expectations for every position initially through a position description and emphasize these expectations throughout the interview process and then the onboarding process. We continue to amplify these expectations through regular conversations, feedback and performance evaluations. In the annual performance cycle, we work with our teammates to set annual objectives and goals that help them meet the expectations of the job. We believe to best enable an employee to succeed, we should set objectives and goals that are specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time based."
