With the holiday season in full swing, we will be dishing out a smaller list of Sober-Friendly Events tomorrow in lieu of sharing coping skills throughout the rest of the year! Today we are starting out with some tips for dealing with Family Stress. Take the time to be open and direct with your family. Tell them what you need this year. Remember that, even though they are family, they don’t have a say. Prioritize yourself this holiday season. Then, with planning, attention, and restraint, we can make the holidays go as smoothly as possible. ? And sometimes, we even get to savor the gifts of food and connection with people we love. ?
