SoarTech won second place at the Eastern Defense Summit this month! John Sauter, who represented SoarTech said, "We entered the Triad of Autonomy competition under the Information Warfare Research Project (IWRP) Consortium. We had to address one of three challenge problems: Dynamic Multi-Agent Search, Autonomous Identification of Anomalous Maritime Patterns, and Dataset Sufficiency for Computer Vision Models. Teams were judged on who had the most innovative solutions and whether the technology could be implemented in the near term. We were given 20 minutes to make our pitch at the Eastern Defense Conference in Charleston, SC on Dec 12. Our SwarmMATE technology won second place ($15K) against a tough field. There is a possibility for follow-on work and we will be working with NIWC Atlantic to see where that might lead.
