Headphones aren’t just tech—they're an extension of personal style. With Nova, our team set out to design more than just an earbud, but a brand that is centered around self-expression. In our approach, we asked the question: How can wearable tech feel more personal, adaptable, and intentional? The answer was in customization. We designed Nova to have modular, swappable rings to transform your earbuds into a statement piece—allowing users to mix and match colors and finishes just like they would with their jewelry. We were interested in how tech can evolve with the user, rather than dictate their look. At SO Dsgn, this is how we think. Every design decision ladders up to a bigger story—one that resonates with the people using the product. #DesignStrategy #Branding #WearableTech #Customization #ProductInnovation #UserCenteredDesign #IndustrialDesign #FashionTech #TechBranding #FutureOfDesign

This Women’s History Month, we’re celebrating women who are redefining industries, breaking barriers, and leading with purpose—like our incredible clients at 1953 Tequila. Founded, farmed, and led by women, 1953 is more than just a spirits brand. It’s a tribute to the women who fought for the right to vote in Mexico in 1953—a milestone that changed history. Their legacy of resilience and progress is woven into every part of the brand. Over the past year, our studio SO Dsgn has had the privilege of working alongside their team to elevate their brand in the luxury spirits space, helping to visualize and tell their story with the authenticity it deserves. Cheers to the women making history every day. Grateful to be a part of this journey. #WomensHistoryMonth #WomenInSpirits #LuxuryBranding #DesignForTheFuture #BrandIdentity #WomenLed

Meet Blaze Beauty—a conceptual project from our studio SO Dsgn that reimagines what it means to trailblaze sustainability in beauty. To us, sustainability should be bold, intentional, and built to last, not an afterthought. Rather than relying on plastic-heavy packaging that ends up in landfills, we designed a luxury beauty line using natural materials—ceramic, metal, and glass—chosen for their durability, recyclability, and authenticity. More than just packaging, Blaze is a system design for longevity. We also intentionally designed an experience that embraces beauty in imperfection—one that withstands drops, cracks, and breaks without losing its essence. With Blaze, a crack doesn’t make the products any less usable, just as a scar doesn’t make a person any less beautiful—it simply reveals a deeper inner beauty. Shoutout to the extended team behind this project: Rotimi Solola, Phoebe Liandyartha, and Eleanor Figueras for pushing the boundaries of what sustainable design in beauty can be. Here’s a peek into some of the creative work that we prototyped for Nova Earbuds. The standout feature? A swappable ring design that lets users personalize their earbuds for a custom look and feel. We brought that same energy to the website, using parallax scrolling and interactive elements to create an immersive experience that reflects Nova’s design philosophy. What an incredible night! Our first DSGN Unfiltered event last Thursday brought together over 45 creatives for an open, honest, and interactive discussion on work ethic in the design industry. The conversation was so engaging, with great insights from our panelists and amazing input from the audience. The feedback we've gotten has been amazing—many shared how much they enjoyed the format and the candid, collaborative conversation it inspired. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made this event such a success. Can't wait for the next one! #DSGNUnfiltered Photos by Janelle Jaqueline

One of our main objectives with the X-ARM UFACTORY brand was to showcase the incredible versatility of X-ARM and the endless possibilities it offers. Rather than focusing solely on selling the product, we aimed to inspire our audience to imagine how they could bring their unique visions to life with this powerful tool. Through storyboarding and animation, we created a dynamic clip that illustrates just a glimpse of what X-ARM can do. This approach allows potential users to visualize the many ways they can leverage the X-ARM, from manufacturing to creative applications, unlocking potential far beyond what they may expect.

SO Dsgn recently partnered with UFACTORY USA to rebrand and support their expansion into the U.S. market. We developed a new logo, brand toolkit, and website to introduce UFactory’s innovative robotic arms to U.S. customers with a bold, impactful identity. Our aim was to build a brand that reflects UFactory’s values—innovation, adaptability, and reliability. From the sleek logo to the clean color palette and confident tone, every detail was designed to convey precision, trust, and advanced technology. Check out UFactory’s new brand toolkit and see it in action on their new site! https://www.ufactory.us/
