    If you could do anything, pay didn’t matter, what would it be? Close your eyes and think for a few seconds. Are you doing it? Can you make it happen? What is holding you back? Six-year-old Johnny saw a teacher when he did that... He admired teachers, His grandmother, Great Aunt and Aunt were all teachers. He became a trainer. 17-year-old Johnny closed his eyes and saw playing catcher for the Indians. ?? He also saw leading a team with large windows in his office. He had offices that overlooked stores and a city, leading teams of up to 200. 50-year-old John... He sees something entirely different. A freedom that the others could not see. A freedom to choose and to make a difference for people while helping others succeed. It involves all of what the 6-year-old and 17-year-old saw. It works through all the experience 50-year-old John earned. It involves smashing them together (sans office) and making a difference. I am launching next week... I close my eyes and smile.     Do you ever wonder if there's more sand at the bottom or the top? When I hit 50, I started to think about it... Internally anyways. No one in my close-knit group or family knew I was concerned. As you think about it now, would it make you act quicker? Would you look at things differently? Deep inside, I wondered if I had left my mark on the world as I had hoped. I think I have... When employees have left my company, they tell me the same thing... It was a pleasure to work with you, and it makes them sad that they are moving on. There have been varying reasons: distance, pay, family matters, moving. Yet when I think about them, I did my part, which helps them and the world. They were trained well enough to move on and crush it somewhere else. That right there makes me smile, makes me happy, and makes me continue. We are provided opportunities that change our lives. When yours comes, will you take it? It feels like mine is here... Let's follow along and see if I can find peace of mind in my next step. Crush the week!!

    Roller coasters are not for me. It does not pay for me to go to amusement parks. I have gone to them for other people, and others have laughed at me for not liking them. But you know what? Entrepreneurship is just like a roller coaster... It has been for me. It's a ride that sometimes flips you upside down, yanks you backward, runs you through tunnels, and has steep inclines and sudden drops. Along that ride, you find slower rides, get wet from water rides, eat questionable food, and sometimes drink too much. Just like an amusement park! One major difference... You have to wait in line for 45 min to get on your favorite ride unless you have FAST PASS. That fast pass is your path to get on that ride quicker and experience it sooner. Again, just like Entrepreneurship... You get to where you want to be quicker. I had two folks reach out over the weekend about starting their own business and if they thought it was a good idea. It always is. Always. I always tell them my analogy, and they laugh; later, they come back and say. You were right!??It's like a roller coaster. Just start and push the fear aside.     Inspiration comes from places we least expect it. As someone creative, I have noticed it from landscapes, storms, people, and animals. In this case, it's my little guy, my bub, my booger butt. I have shared my pup before, but officially meet Winston! This guy has helped me through some of my toughest times, and shared in some great ones. It’s true English Bulldogs judge and side eye… but it’s all in love. He assures I am never alone… working with me daily. He’s also the first to see what the day brings with zest and a glimmer in his eye (after he moseys into the living room after waking up) If I’m happy and excited, he’s ready to play. If I’m sad and prefer to sit and watch TV, he’s by my side, cuddled up on my hip. When they say Dogs are a man’s best friend, it’s true, He is mine. Winston changed my life just over two years ago… Now it’s time to recognize him with inspiration. More coming soon ??

    The last four years have taken me on a ride... There have been more than once I wanted to throw in the towel. There have been business struggles and a divorce. I lost my pup, Bob, to cancer after 12 years. I had employees come and go. I have started speaking to a counselor more than most people... You know what. I would not change a thing....
