Congratulations to Orlando Health, Lantz Boggio / Architects, and the entire Health Central Park Skilled Nursing Home team on being named the 2024 winner in the Senior Housing News Architecture & Design Awards for Skilled Nursing / Post-Acute Care Renovation/Repositioning! Originally built in 1967, the outdated facility was in dire need of repositioning to meet the needs of current and future generations of residents. In addition to renovations throughout, the project added a new 62,000-square-foot, 110-bed wing designed for short-term skilled nursing, high acuity, and memory care residents, increasing the total bed count to 228. Lantz-Boggio led the architecture and interior design, while RLF provided engineering and medical equipment planning.
