KNOW YOUR BANKER Lindsey Pels began her accounting career as a teenager, managing the books for her father’s company. She is thankful that she gained this valuable experience in payroll, accounts payable, and the general ledger before transitioning to software systems. Later, while pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, she brought this accounting and finance expertise into the banking sector where she served in various roles, including Accounting, Operations, New Accounts, and Loans. At State National Bank, Lindsey holds a crucial position overseeing the bank’s Accounting and Payroll functions, ensuring the institution's overall financial well-being. Outside of work, she cherishes her role as a newlywed. Lindsey and her husband David actively engage in family activities with her 16-year-old daughter, bonus children, and grandchildren. They are also active participants in their church community and involved in organizations such as FFA and 4-H.
