Snaxshot turns 5 this year and it’s grown so much there’s actually a bifurcation happening that some people may not know what it truly is — is it a meme page? a newsletter? an oracle? started deep diving into this space September 2020, focusing on tracking cultural convergences that lead to what we find at grocery stores in efforts to predict what comes next ?????? focused on building Snaxshot as an antithesis of a traditional industry publication, with a focus on “consumer first” how do we make this digestible for consumers to understand why certain ingredients or products are landing at their local grocer? with that in mind—I came up with the three principles that have led to the success of this platform in such a short time ??excess is death sniff out the bs, focus on providing something of value ?? “discovery is strength” the visibility this platform offers to brands and retailers alike brings value ??? curation as salvation no PR pitches, no advertising and no sponsorships, in an era where everyone wants shill something, I shield consumers from it, allowing only what I think is valuable for them as my readers to come through zeroing in on these principles has allowed Snaxshot to grow audiences across socials and newsletter that is over 100,000+ ALL ORGANIC, no sponsorship or gimmicks to get people on board, just giving people what they want —AUTHENTICITY and a UNIQUE POV this reputation has also allowed for me to consult with some of the BIGGEST food and beverage companies in the world, be a speaker at the most prestigious conferences in the space and get to work with some amazing brands and people over the last half a decade. my work has been featured across almost every major publication, including international features, not to mention inspired some of these actual pieces in the era where every one “self appoints” themselves experts, I let my work do the speaking for me ?? Last year I predicted beef tallow would be THE ingredient in 2025 for snacks and just in Q1 alone I’ve seen FOUR new chip brands launch boasting the ingredient it’s not just a US phenomenon though half of the brands below are based in AUS Australia ???? so the movement is not inside a silo

“the people’s EXPO” ???? Now that enough time has passed, wanted to share some of the snapshots from our LA event thanks to Soon Tani Beccaria Mochizuki For the past four years Snaxshot has hosted an event featuring the latest in food and beverage, from pre-launch items to brands from around the world . Leisure Hydration was at our first one with only jugs testing out their product, BRUTAL was out our second one to debut their product all the way from Ecuador, SummerFall debuted with us last year. This year we had no shortage of amazing brands from iessi debuting all the way from France, Rick M. got us our first HYQ (which taste amazing btw) Really Good People came all the way from Australia to showcase a myriad of Aussie brands we’ve loved from afar, as well as DELLI who joined us from the UK! We ticketed the event for a good cause, with 330 attendees who helped us raise $10K to help founders and retailers affected by LA fires. The vision? For community by community. Our events are the perfect place for brands to sample not only amongst VC, retailers, buyers alike (this year also featured some celebrities ??) but most importantly consumers. Many brands have found their first customers and now loyal brand advocates at our parties, which aim to serve as an equalizing platform, at no cost for brands. Though many of you complained about it not being in Anaheim, I think what we’re building makes sense for it to continue to be in LA, helping pour back into the city while supporting the CPG ecosystem as a whole. Many of you also complained that the event should accommodate more people, and I hope any big brand or investment firm reading, reaches out to sponsor next year ?? Snaxshot turns 5 this year, I cannot express how much gratitude I have for all who have embraced it and opened up to us, I know I can come across as opinionated but truly I’m hoping what we do across our newsletter, socials and community continues to have a meaningful and positive impact in this space. To the founders who were part of it, I’m thankful and rooting for you every step of the way.
