    Rediscover Center is on a mission to ignite creativity in youth across Los Angeles County! Through public youth maker spaces, in-school programs, and community activities, they provide kids with the tools, materials, and support to become sustainable creative makers and problem solvers. From scissors to power saws, Rediscover Center empowers young people to explore and create using real tools and sustainable materials.     SoCal Museums has announced that the annual Museums Free-for-All will take place on Sunday, March 16, 2025, offering free general admission at over thirty museums and cultural institutions across Southern California. This beloved tradition celebrates the region’s rich arts, cultural heritage, film, and natural history, providing visitors with the opportunity to explore world-class museums at no cost. As communities continue to recover from the devastating fires, SoCal Museums aims to create a space for comfort, connection, and discovery. From art and history to science and film, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. While general admission is free, special exhibitions may require a separate ticket, and regular parking fees apply. Some institutions are also extending the offer to Saturday, March 15, and Metro riders with a TAP card can access exclusive discounts. This second part of the series features 16 panels (ribbons) spanning 120 feet of digital collage, weaving together parts of the city that are physically disconnected yet bound by color's influence on LA’s landscape.
