We are proud to announce that Grove Manor, our 84-unit affordable housing development in Winter Haven, Florida, has achieved the National Green Building Standard (NGBS) Silver certification! Grove Manor's journey involved the complete rehabilitation of 42 existing units and the construction of a new three-story, 42-unit midrise. Despite challenges such as material cost escalations and supply chain disruptions during the COVID-19 pandemic, our dedicated team completed the project on time and within budget. The NGBS certification evaluates six key areas: Lot Design and Development, Resource Efficiency, Water Efficiency, Energy Efficiency, Indoor Environmental Quality, and Building Operation & Maintenance. Achieving the Silver level requires a comprehensive approach to green building practices, reflecting our dedication to environmental stewardship. Zion Village is taking shape! ??? Construction is moving full steam ahead on Zion Village, a $33.5M affordable senior housing community in Riverview, FL! With 75 one-bedroom apartments for seniors at 30%, 50%, 60%, and 70% AMI, this community is designed for comfort and quality living. Exciting progress is happening on-site, thanks to our general contractor, Pike Construction Services. The roof is being installed, marking a major step toward completing the buildings. Inside, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems are being put in place. Outside, crews are starting to add finishing touches like trim and stucco. Windows are also being prepped and sealed to keep everything protected. Every step brings us closer to welcoming residents home! Each apartment will feature premium finishes, Energy Star appliances, and in-unit laundry, with amazing amenities like a fitness center, library, movie room, and outdoor pavilion. We are proud to announce the completion of Grove Manor, an 84-unit affordable housing development in Winter Haven, Florida. This project included the complete rehabilitation of 42 existing units and the construction of a new three-story, 42-unit midrise, bringing high-quality, sustainable housing to the community. Originally designed and bid before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Grove Manor faced significant challenges, including material cost escalations and supply chain disruptions. Despite these hurdles, the project was completed on time and within budget, a testament to the collaboration and dedication of our development team and partners. This project was made possible through Federal 9% LIHTC Equity, a construction and permanent loan from JPMorganChase, Polk County ARPA funds, and a Raza Development Fund loan. In addition to providing much-needed affordable housing, Grove Manor is NGBS Green Certified, ensuring long-term sustainability and energy efficiency for its residents. Renovations are underway at Town and Country Apartments, bringing 256 affordable homes to the city of Binghamton in the Southern Tier region of New York! Governor Kathy Hochul l announced the $94 million project, which will renovate all units in the 22-building garden-style complex, including full electrification and modernization. The renovations will also include upgraded flooring, windows, appliances, and electrical fixtures, making these homes safe, sustainable, and modern. This project is part of Governor Hochul's $25 billion five-year Housing Plan, aiming to create or preserve 100,000 affordable homes statewide. The Town and Country Apartments renovation is a significant step towards addressing the housing crisis in City of Binghamton and providing quality, affordable housing for its residents. With sitework advancing, major building components coming together, and infrastructure taking shape, we’re one step closer to delivering 48 brand-new affordable and workforce housing units to Garfield Township. This transformative development is on track for Summer 2025 completion, bringing much-needed housing to the community. The first phase is just the beginning of a larger vision that will introduce over 200 homes, a transit hub, retail space, an early learning daycare, and single-family homes built by Habitat for Humanity—all designed to create a thriving, connected neighborhood.
