Construction on the Hanford Viaduct continues! 📍 Kings County, CA This monumental structure is the Authority's largest in the Central Valley, spanning 6,330 ft. long and will carry high-speed trains over the San Joaquin Valley Railroad and State Route 198! 🏗

Working as part of the Dragados-Flatiron JV, Smith-Emery performed the QC inspection for the Fargo Avenue Overcrossing on the California High Speed Rail - spanning 205 feet and more than 40 feet wide - the structure separates traffic from the high-speed rail lines. Smith-Emery inspected 15 pre-cast California Wide Flange girders, 1,086 cubic yards of concrete and more than 220,000 pounds of steel.
