In yet another twist—FinCEN has halted all enforcement of the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) while it works on extending BOI reporting deadlines. No fines, no penalties and no enforcement actions for noncompliance (for now). With an interim final rule expected by March 21, 2025, businesses can pause compliance efforts until further guidance is issued.
