Smile for a Lifetime is a charitable nonprofit that helps make orthodontic care accessible to children in low-income families and those in special circumstances, such as foster care. With a provider network that stretches across the United States and Canada, Smile for a Lifetime links orthodontic providers with children in need. The organization has served thousands of children since its beginning in 2009. We prioritize our services for low-income families and/or individuals in special situations, such as foster care or other out-of-home placements. Many of these youth are at risk for unfavorable health, academic, and social outcomes because of these challenges, and they are particularly vulnerable when they do not have the positive self-esteem and confidence that come with good oral health. It is our mission to inspire hope in these youth and change their lives in a dramatic way.
