While certification progress is important, the path to revenue is crucial as it can make your cash reserves last longer. The OEM go-to-market strategy affects the duration of its path to revenue. An OEM could sell aircraft for demo and testing purposes, as we expect Archer to do in UAE, before certification However, if the OEM is counting on tickets' sales, Joby Aviation's go-to-market strategy, it will have to wait for the aircraft to be certified. This would translate in a shorter path to revenue for the OEM selling aircraft rather than tickets. Note: for simplicity we have assumed the same timing for the certification and EIS milestones of both OEMs. We do not expect that to be the case. What happens when an OEM disappears? Unintended consequences. In the last four months, we have taken 5 OEMs out of the index and that has resulted in dropping 25 operators that ordered only their vehicles and 1,548 orders, or around 7.5% of all the orders we track. #aam #uam #evtol #airtaxi
