This MBA journey was difficult (deferring, applying, reapplying), but I firmly believe that what is meant for you won’t pass you by. But yes, it’s true; I am officially pursuing my MBA at Cornell University's Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management as a The Consortium for Graduate Study in Management, Forté Foundation, and LunaCap Foundation Fellow with a full-tuition merit scholarship. As a first-generation Latina growing up in El Monte, CA, attending public schools, community college, and California State University, Fullerton, to becoming the first Director of Social Media Marketing at the The Recording Academy, my upbringing and career have prepared me for this next phase of life and career. This is my time, ?Sí se pudo! To Admit.me (Eric Allen and Wendy Catalina), you gave me tools to be a competitive MBA candidate, allowed me to build a community with those on the same journey as me and cement authentic friendships that will last a lifetime, thank you!
