Based in Miami, FL, we developed a complete access control solution for gated residential communities, apartment buildings, and other types of multi-tenant properties to manage both their visitor and resident entry access. Our video enabled intercoms allow residents to actually see who is at the entrance and then open the door or gate remotely using their phone. The easiest way to understand our product is to think of Ring but with a touch screen in order to adopt to the usage scenario required by multi-tenant properties. The live streaming video call allows the residents to visually identify who is at the entrance that is 100% better than traditional voice only based systems. Using Android tablets and Raspberry Pi, our software and cloud based system is able to provide comparable or better feature sets at around 10% of the price versus traditional access control manufacturers. Upon arrival, visitors use the touch screen on the tablet to select the resident they are coming to visit, and the tablet makes a video call to the resident's (iOS / Android) smart phone, no additional hardware is required inside each home. The Raspberry Pi based single entry controller connects to any standard Wiegand compliant RFID, Bluetooth, NFC, or bio-metric credential readers to provide access control for residents to shared facilities such as the pool, gym, club house, laundry rooms, electric car charging stations, , etc. with optional per swipe financial transactions to facilitate cashless vending. Using WiFi and Bluetooth, our wireless controllers allow faster, easier, and inexpensive installations. A $2 per home monthly fee provides property managers access to our cloud based community management portal to manage the whole community, with unlimited calls from unlimited entrances, and unlimited residents.
