Celebrating Savana, a SMART alumna from the high school class of 2019. After graduating from UC Davis with a degree in psychology, she’s dedicated to promoting educational access for the next generation. In her role at City Year, Savana supports students with similar backgrounds, guiding them through systemic inequities to achieve their academic goals. Savana shared, “SMART gave me the community, knowledge, and resources to overcome educational barriers and inspired me to help others do the same.” Her journey is an incredible reminder of the impact SMART has on our Scholars, inspiring young leaders to build a brighter future.
