Seizures of #fentanyl at the border have been dropping since October, and seizures of illegally imported eggs now outnumber seizures of the synthetic #opioid. That being said, we are still seeing huge volumes of fentanyl as well as #methamphetamine and other drugs. https://lnkd.in/eTzK9dQR

From their #subdivision #opioidsettlement funds, #Knoxville will be spending $400,000 on #lawenforcement, mostly equipment upgrades and #training, $60,000 to Metro Drug Coalition for #recovery services, and $40,000 in #naloxone and #overdose training for the #FireDept. https://ow.ly/5R5550VkS7o

A federal court has signed off on a $700 million class-action settlement that will see drug manufacturers and distributors (Cencora - formerly AmerisourceBergen, Cardinal Health, McKesson, Johnson & Johnson, Teva and Allergan) pay more than 1,000 acute care #hospitals over alleged misconduct regarding prescription #opioids. https://lnkd.in/epJ78Msc
