Promising start to the year—we received support for 2 of our films from the Lithuanian Film Centre! 1. The psychological drama "Hold Me Closer" by Irma Pu?auskait? was funded for production! The story explores complex emotional issues related to addiction and the relationship between love and control. The film, written by Birut? Kapustinskait?, will be filmed by DOP Vytautas Plukas and produced by Ruta Petronyte and Justinas Pocius from Smart Casual, with co-production by Alise Rogule from Mima Films and Claire Chassagne from DOLCE VITA FILMS. The project is also supported by Creative Europe and will be filmed in 2026. 2. The mystical thriller "Flood" by J?rūn? Grei?iūt? secured financing for creative development. The story unfolds during a scorching summer on a secluded island, where a couple hears a rumor about an impending flood. Fear and anxiety, combined with local mystic rituals, challenge their relationship. The film is co-written by Matas Vild?ius, will be filmed by DOP Odeta Ri?kut?, and produced by Rūta Petronyt? and Justinas Pocius from Smart Casual.
