Under the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA), which went into effect on January 1, 2024, many U.S. small business owners are required to file corporate transparency reports with beneficial ownership information (BOI). For most eligible businesses, the filing deadline is January 1, 2025. As of 12/4/2024, a federal court has halted the implementation of the Corporate Transparency Act's BOI reporting requirements. This will remain in effect until the conclusion of legal proceedings. As of this update, businesses are not required to comply with the reporting requirements, but may voluntarily continue to do so if they wish. ?? We're choosing to inform you so that you can be prepared in the event that reporting does resume. We will continue to monitor this and share any updates.
