Just wrapped up a productive work trip to Berlin, where I had the privilege of participating in the Africa Roundtable on #DigitalPublicInfrastructure (DPI), organized by Global Perspectives Initiative. A big thank you to the Global Perspectives team led by Rhoda Berger for fostering critical conversations around DPI and digital transformation, not just for Africa and Europe, but for the world. A big shoutout to all the partners who contributed to making this roundtable such a success. Beyond the roundtable, I had the opportunity to connect with our incredible partners at Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. This week in Madagascar, the Smart Africa conducted its second country engagement visit under the IDECT Project, assessing the state of digital payments and the e-commerce ecosystem. The visit included a meeting with Hon.
