We are seeking applications for Engineering and Compliance Interns! Primary duties will be to assist with compiling the County Air Pollution Emissions Inventory. Under the direction of Engineering and Compliance Division staff, tasks will include compiling and evaluating air pollution emissions data, researching emission factors, performing calculations, and quality assurance of emissions databases. The APCD Hearing Board has 3 vacant positions & one expiring term open for recruitment: one Attorney Alternate, one Public Alternate, one Engineer Alternate and one Attorney Member with an expiring term on September 26, 2024. State law stipulates that the Attorney Member and Alternate must be admitted to the practice of law in California, the Engineer Member and Alternate be registered professional engineers, and also requires appointment of Hearing Board members be made by the APCD Board of Directors (set for June 19, 2024).
