?? Ra-Tek A. is Slipstream’s newest marketing coordinator, joining the team in late spring. Ra-Tek’s primary focus is supporting the program marketing team, and he is staying super busy! In Ra-Tek’s words: ?? While trying to apply an artistic lens to marketing, ?? I find that the day-to-day brings many challenges that help with creativity in this space. My favorite part has been how supportive the team is while I’m adjusting to a new industry. ?? Marketing’s basic principles don’t change, but how you apply them can be a bit tricky at times. I’m currently working on multiple projects at once, but when we think about energy efficiency, decarbonizing buildings, etc., my first thought is – what does that even mean? Does that involve cutting off a light switch like my mom would yell about when we were kids? ?? Learning that the educational part comes first, as it does in any industry, is important. ?? I joined Slipstream because of the impact that this space could have on black and brown individuals in low-income communities. As someone who knows about the impacts of carbon emissions on the health of those in the black and brown communities, I thought it would be great to work for a company that touches this area in an impactful way. ???? #TeamSlipstream
