We are excited to see these amazing projects begin construction. Both occupy amazing sites within our city, and will help bring hundreds of housing units to NYC. Topped Out in Brooklyn! What a milestone for 180 Ashland Place, as the 610-Foot-tall tower reaches its apex in Downtown Brooklyn.180 Ashland will contain 609 residences within 420,000 SF and 50 stories. ?The tower is clad with a minimalist glass and metal facade of alternating colors, with elegant stone and metal accents along the sidewalk facades. The panoramic skyline views are amazing, and state-of-the-art amenities include a 50th Floor rooftop pool, hot tub and cabana; private lounges; a personal spa; several game rooms and an amazing Fitness Center. Congratulations to Rockrose Development Corp., and to the SLCE team of Robert Laudenschlager, James Davidson, Thomas J. Furman, AIA, LEED AP, Neeta Purev and Norman Bradley. Proud to attend the groundbreaking of the Marcus Garvey Extension Phase II, bringing much needed affordable and supportive housing to Brownsville, Brooklyn. ?MGX-Building G includes 109 affordable homes, with 55 reserved for formerly homeless individuals and families, and on-site supportive services for all residents. The development is a true collaboration between amazing stakeholders: L+M Development Partners LLC, Services for the UnderServed, the Osborne Association, and New York State Homes and Community Renewal.?In total, 287 units will be delivered across three buildings, with 143 units designated for supportive housing.
