Slavic Village Development (SVD) is a non-profit community development corporation with over 25 years experience in neighborhood development and community building in Broadway Slavic Village, a community of 30,000 people in southeast Cleveland. SVD is entrepreneurial, creative, and committed to our vision of Broadway Slavic Village as an “active vibrant community with a strong sense of connectedness and belonging”. Our core values honor the unique identities of our pocket neighborhoods and the diversity of our residents.   • RFP Announcement: Comprehensive Master Planning Pros Needed!? ? Are you a mission-driven firm looking to create meaningful change through community-led land use, zoning & real estate planning? SVD is looking for qualified planning firms & teams to lead our comprehensive neighborhood plan & SVD’s strategic plan for the Broadway-Slavic Village neighborhood.? ? Located 2 miles southeast of downtown, Broadway-Slavic Village is one of Cleveland’s oldest and most well-known neighborhoods. At 5 square miles, it is the largest EcoDistrict-certified community worldwide and is currently undergoing GCRTA’s transformative Broadway TOD Plan. The comprehensive master plan aims to unite and expand current & existing neighborhood planning work to guide public & private investment and attract community-minded, high-quality & innovative development. We also want City Hall to adopt our neighborhood plan upon its completion so that our work is codified for future generations. It’s an exciting time for planning in Broadway-Slavic Village!? ? SVD’s Strategic Plan will define our organization’s role and framework for carrying out the comprehensive master plan over the next 10 years.
