We had a great visit today from the Economic Development Administration!
Today, the Osage Nation joined the Osage, LLC, Oklahoma State University, and Tulsa Innovation Labs to welcome the Economic Development Administration's (EDA) Acting Assistant Secretary of Commerce and Economic Development Cristina Killingsworth and her team to the Osage Nation Reservation. The visit included a site visit to the Skyway36 Droneport and Technology Innovation Center, which was awarded a $2.1 million grant from the EDA and is currently under construction. Skyway36 Droneport and Technology Innovation Center is the ideal location for flight testing all UAS and AAM technologies modes. Strategically situated within Osage Nation, less than 5 miles from downtown Tulsa and 10 miles from Tulsa International Airport, Skyway36 provides a unique combination of urban cityscape and rural environments. It is the primary access point to Skyway Range, the Beyond-Visual-Line-of-Sight UAS flight test range of 1,200 square miles built in partnership with Osage LLC, Oklahoma State University, and Tulsa Innovation Labs.
