?? Spotlight on Kate Barse, PsyD ??? Executive Clinical Director, Downers Grove Location? We are thrilled to celebrate Kate Barse, PsyD, who now leads our new Downers Grove location as the Executive Clinical Director! Kate joined Skyway as a Primary Therapist and quickly rose to Program Manager, overseeing our Mood, Anxiety, and Trauma programs. Her contributions have been instrumental in developing these programs to meet the needs of each client.? In her new role, Kate is spending many hours preparing for the opening of Downers Grove, ensuring that the programming mirrors Skokie and that our team continues to provide the highest quality care to the clients we’ll treat there in early 2025.? ? Kate was initially drawn to Skyway because of our commitment to treating each client as an individual and addressing co-occurring diagnoses with comprehensive care. Her expertise spans areas including eating disorders—specifically binge eating disorder—mood and anxiety disorders for adolescents and promoting equity in behavioral health care for underrepresented populations. Kate’s dedication to mental health and her well-rounded experience make her an invaluable asset to the Skyway team.? Outside of her impactful work, Kate enjoys spending quality time with her family, including her three wonderful kids, who keep her busy with sports, music, and impromptu dance parties! She’s also passionate about the outdoors, reading, coffee, Formula 1, and a variety of sports.? Thank you, Kate, for all you do! We are so lucky to have you on the team.?

We had an incredible evening at the KHF Finding Freedom Gala hosted by Authentically You Eating Disorder Counseling! The night was filled with inspiration, networking, and heartfelt celebration of recovery journeys, all in support of the Kirsten Haglund Foundation. All proceeds from this meaningful event go directly towards scholarships that provide life-saving access to eating disorder treatment.
