Sky Infiniti are partners who work alongside organizations dealing with burnout, high turnover, leadership, and organizational alignment. We respond in the form of restorative practices increasing retention and belonging in the workplace environment. Sky Infiniti offers strategic project management consulting, employee engagement sessions, and staff training, development, & coaching, that unveils the root causes of burnout and inefficiencies. Sky Infiniti has also developed tools kits and white paper resources as “soil”-utions to nourishing workplace environments. What sets Sky Infiniti apart is our products and services are rooted in restorative principles that instill connection, communication, and the ability to coach others within an organization. Sky Infiniti founder, JenDina Bowers has over 10 years of experience serving in the workplace culture of the public services sector. Bowers is also certified in culture of health, organizational alignment, and project management, and is a public administration graduate. Bower’s background in research and practice has demonstrated work culture is strongly correlated to employee burnout, turnover, and population outcomes.

    Recruiting and Retaining skilled professionals in Public Service is a long-standing challenge and is vital to high-quality service to the community.? ? We've done some research and there are some commonalities in concerns that impact one's decision to apply, stay, or even exit roles in this industry. ? Positive Work Environment: Take into account how the workplace feels to staff, what it looks like to staff (and community), as well as the sound of conversation (or lack of). A workplace with healthy communication, connection, and coaching support are key to cultivating a positive work culture. ? Work-Load Balance- Public service has a huge job! (say it again) Social Impact is demanding work and deserves to be recognized as such. Take into consideration the work processes, are they helpful or harmful? What "productivity" are we measuring and why? ? Competitive Compensation- Public service professionals are often a decade behind in salary. As the heroes in shaping our society, we must use resources to do a comprehensive study on salaries/benefits, make the necessary adjustments, on an ongoing basis. Some staff are quitting because they can't afford gas to get to work. ? Career Development- When our line of work attributes so much to our identity, enrichment is essential. Providing opportunities for vocational progression and enhancement not only enriches your staff but will increase the equity of skilled staff in your organization as well.? ? Diversity Equity & Inclusion- Cultivating a workplace where all are recognized & celebrated, included & welcomed, and supported & protected will make it hard for staff to leave. ?     And I'm saying this to all BLACK ?? WOMEN with my full chest. On my list of 59 things I'm entirely sick of... I'm tired of people telling us and expecting us to toughen up. We are implicitly or explicitly asked to have thick skin at home, at school, at work, in friendships, at church, etc. For whet? There is nothing wrong with everyone else being challenged to soften up for us... or we move around. I've been thinking A LOT lately about what brave, safe and/or open spaces look and feel like for BLACK ?? WOMEN. What does that space need to BE for a Black woman to relax and feel like her fully free self? For her to be a hot ?? ass unraveling mess and still feel held like the tightest hug of a deeply loving grandmother. There's an unattributed quote that lives rent-free in my head (and on my Instagram feed). It goes: "The highest form of LOVE is CONSIDERATION." And Black women, I'm here to say you are worthy of being CONSIDERED in ALL things. ???? You are worthy of consideration for your emotional and domestic labor contributions AND needs that exist in your marriages and romantic relationships. ???? You are worthy of workplace leaders that consider your unique experience and the multiple intersections at which you need to be cared for differently. And that protects you from fuckery...even if it's from other Black folks. ???? You are worthy of sisterhood that can affirm your pain as well as your pleasure. That can hear you say, "I'm afraid that I will fail..." And they hold that scary truth for you like a newborn baby and say, "Sis, I hear you. I've been there..." instead of instantly demanding you tighten up, "fix your crown," order you to pray, read a motivational quote and get it the f*ck together. Black women have thick skin and BEEN had thick skin... What we need are professional and personal circles with a helluva lot more shea butter, cashmere blankies, fuzzy slippers, and soft mattresses for us to land. ?????? And Black Women, if you find yourself surrounded by too many places and people that demand your HARDNESS, then you go seek some SOFT, Pumpkin ??     Hey Everyone, If you've been following then you know shortly after my journal was released, it was duplicated and reproduced. This was extremely disappointing but also a peak of sunshine because people only copy what sells. ?? In addition to that, I am frustrated by the quality of printing that Amazon - Kindle Direct Publishing has used to distribute my books to customers. It's a bit of a nightmare but we gone get through it. ????
