Pretty awesome DFR Summit at Skydio HQ. Together with Rick Smith and Axon, we hosted 100+ Law Enforcement leaders from around the country at our R&D headquarters and manufacturing facility (largest drone factory in the U.S.?). Everyone got hands-on flying drones while also seeing under the hood how we design, build, and test these systems. The most exciting part for me was hearing the incredible impact stories from agencies that are up and flying Skydio DFR now. The map of deployments across the U.S. is getting denser every day :) Most importantly, we heard invaluable, direct feedback on everything we’re working on to make DFR more useful and more accessible. Send me a DM if you or your agency is interested in attending events like this in the future.

#StantecProud of Kyle Michael Compton, PWS and Jake Hafermalz from our Texas #EnvironmentalServices group for their outstanding work documenting historic bridges with UAS systems. Accurate documentation of historic structures is essential for cultural preservation and public safety. Having the right tools, like the Skydio X10L, in the hands of #SMEs, plays a crucial role in identifying significant details, making the data useful at the time of collection. Their professionalism and expertise contribute to the effectiveness of the Stantec UAS program as a force multiplier for our verticals. Great job, team! ? #Stantec #UAS #RPAS #drone #inspection #DigitalWorkflow #HistoricPreservation #Safety #Efficency #Skydio #X10L

?? The X10D Strengthens Allied ISR ?? At Allied Spirit 25 with 7th Army Training Command, one of the U.S. Army’s premier interoperability exercises in Europe, the X10D is proving itself in operations alongside NATO forces. As Lithuania’s Infantry Brigade – Griffin pushes its limits in a contested battlespace, they’re seeing firsthand why the X10D dominates RF-challenged environments. This isn’t just another training event, it’s a major investment in homeland defense and NATO’s collective strength. And as more allied forces witness the X10D in action, demand for the aircraft continues to surge. While marketing content has its place, nothing proves capability like seeing a system perform in the field with your own eyes. As X10Ds push deeper into European airspace, extending overwatch and force-multiplying NATO’s frontlines, we thank the U.S. Army for leading the way and trusting Skydio and the X10D to provide unmatched ISR when it matters most. Skydio isn’t just expanding across NATO, it’s setting the new standard for autonomous ISR on the modern battlefield. ?? X10D featured around the midpoint of this IG video. Solutions Engineer | Veteran | Problem-Solver | Elevating Public Safety with ???? Autonomous Drones

This photo was taken the morning before Skydio launched the X10 Dock, just a short six months ago. Expectations were set that day, and today, they’re being met! From multiple deployments in diverse environments to marketing and demo docks popping up at events, the momentum is real. Early adopters and agencies are running Skydio DFR-style missions every day, proving the system’s real-world impact. At Skydio, we stand by our word: delivering a true end-to-end #American DFR ecosystem. No smoke and mirrors. No ‘coming soon.’ Just a product you can take for a spin today (hit me up if you have not had the chance). Huge congratulations to the Skydio Product, Engineering, and Flight Test teams for making this vision a reality. Well done!! We are just getting started! ???? #dfr #publicsafety #military #basesecurity #ports #getrdone

Back in my military flying days, I was taught to plan for just about every contingency that might come up during any particular flight. The approach at Skydio is only slightly different in that our Product and Engineering teams are working hard to solve for contingencies in a way that generalizes across deployments and at scale, enabling remote pilots to fly without having to worry or spend hours flight planning. We’re?also constantly testing the system at HQ to prove that these solutions work in the real world. Today, because of a power outage during testing, I had the chance to run to the roof and catch an example of that solution "just working." What?you’re?seeing here are dock-based X10s returning to home, recognizing their?docks aren't open, and autonomously landing at obstacle-free safe landing zones. *The second one doesn't even have one pre-specified, but it finds one anyway!

If you want to get a sense of what it’s like working with and for Skydio, take a look at this Bloomberg article. https://lnkd.in/e27UsRyx Ashlee Vance and?Drake Bennett spent over a year with us. They went onsite to customer locations, they toured our manufacturing facilities, they joined us for internal executive meetings, they interviewed dozens of people inside and outside of Skydio. The transition of drones from toys ? tools ? infrastructure is happening. Today, pre-positioned Docks are housing drones that launch in seconds to gain real-time situational awareness of any incident. Drones are remotely piloted from tens, hundreds, even thousands of miles away. Autonomy is not a feature; it’s an architecture — and this is what is making this future possible. But it’s not easy challenging the status quo. The technical challenges are hard. Change is difficult to accept for those stuck in operating a single way. Yet our customers across more than 2,800 organizations are succeeding every single day - keeping our communities safe, keeping the lights on, and helping secure our nation — these are the industries that form the backbone of our civilization and we are proud to support them.
